Subject: Ah, the year 1940!
A time when a man can be forced to sign a document under duress, and none consider the fact that such a document would have no legal effect.

A time when police could shoot at criminals driving a vehicle, without fear of injuring the innocent public.

I did recognize the outdoor location of the "zoo-carnival" shots. They were taken at the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, Pomona.
